Taylor's 1st Haircut

It was a rather messy and chaotic affair... obviously.

Aunt Carla came to visit...

Truth be told, we couldn't really remember the last time we had seen Aunt Carla but it was nice to see her again... in Colorado even. We got to catch up and get the Aunt Carla hug while she was staying in Greeley last week.

Ryley's First Motorcycle Ride

He had a moment of panic... I could tell as they were pulling away. I'm glad he didn't freak out. As I walked back in the door at home he immediately said "That.Was.AWESOME."

Yes kid I know. I remember those moments with my dad (and mom) pretty vividly actually.

Taylor wasn't entirely sure about the skull cap... she kept taking it off.

1st Boat Ride

Taylor took her first boat ride today. She really wasn't sure about this contraption and fell asleep 30 seconds after the boat took off... I guess that's better than crying about it. The second go around she actually stayed awake but didn't react much. We'll just have to keep taking her since she didn't scream about it.

Baseball finally!

The last three games have been rained out so it was nice to actually make it through a whole game today.

*knock knock knock*

Is this thing still on??!?!

Okay, well I did finally get internet but I still haven't posted. I got enough crap from my uncle tonight to at least grant some requests.

So, without further ado...

No, we don't live in a trailer but we do live here:

Yes, that is a 3 car garage in the making on the right. I think the slow remodeling thing is genetic because we're about as fast at remodeling as my parents are. :) The siding and windows will also get replaced. Up until Sunday there were actually gigantic trees in the backyard which you could see from the front yard but we cut them down as they were half dead. While it was exciting the first time a tree fell on the house, we didn't really want to repeat the show with the new metal roof. No, that isn't a street light. We live in the country and apparently we're required to have a security light. It's kind of lame really since I'm not sure what we're protecting with the light.

This is just a random rainbow to the southeast over the neighbor's yard:

It's a good thing we budgeted for a new grill this summer:

Ryley turned 7 this year and mom and Taylor had fun... dad was camera shy:

Taylor discovered food as moisturizer at some point, and she also found new sleeping positions and places to play. I also captured further proof that Ryley never makes a normal face and have more proof that they liked each other at some point.

Easter was fun... and we even found an excuse to put her easter dress on...

Taylor turned 1 and didn't get nearly messy enough:

We saw some friends:

We got our first taste of belly dancing thanks to Aimee and Taylor couldn't decide if she liked it or not... but no fear... Aimee did just fine.

And we decided in the last week that walking really was okay... these were taken today:
